# Enhance Equipment

Enhancing equipment improves its attributes by either increasing the basic stats or adding additional bonus stat lines, making the gear more powerful and effective. There are multiple ways to enhance equipment, with each method functioning independently.

### Types of Enhancement

* **Upgrade Equipment** – Increases the basic stats of certain equipment.
* Equipment Crystallization - This method does not increase stats but adds an extra slot to the equipment, allowing you to embed upgrade stars. Crystallizable equipment includes items that increase basic stats, such as: Armor, Pants, Gloves, Boots, Radar, and Training Armor.
* Enhancing equipment with stars - Embedding a crystal star into crystallized equipment.
* Socketing equipment - Socketing equipment is similar to crystallizing equipment, but applies to different items, including: Costume, Pets, Spirit Beasts, Titles, Back Items, Skill Books, Advanced Combat Books, Life Essence, Mounts, and Divine Weapon.
* Embedding into equipment - Embedding a gem into equipment that has been socketed.
* In addition, items can also be enhanced.\
